Salford City wait on midfielder and striker's fitness ahead of taking on Bolton Wanderers

Salford City hope to have midfielder Oscar Threlkeld and forward James Wilson available for this evening's clash against Bolton Wanderers.

The Ammies host the Whites in League Two aiming to go four matches unbeaten in the division and continue their quest to reach the play-offs and maintain their promotion aspirations.

Wanderers meanwhile sit in automatic promotion places heading into the encounter and would like to stay there by the end of the evening's action.

Both these teams won at the weekend, with Wanderers coming from behind to beat Harrogate Town and the Ammies picking up three points at the Peninsula Stadium against Stevenage.

In that clash, Wanderers youth product Threlkeld came off at the break and Gary Bowyer hopes the ex-Bolton man will be available to take on his old side this evening.

Former Manchester United youngster James Wilson has missed the club's last three games in League Two, but trained before the weekend victory over the Boro.

And Bowyer hopes to be able to call upon Wilson against Wanderers this evening.

Speaking after the win over Stevenage, Bowyer said: "We picked up a bit of a knock with Oscar at half-time coming off, so hopefully he can be back in and James Wilson trained yesterday a little bit, so hopefully he can be back and we get a few more bodies back, which would help the squad.

"We look forward to Tuesday now."
