It has been a whirlwind few weeks for Arsenal wonderkid Salah-Eddine.
After leaving Feyenoord earlier in the year, the 17-year-old became a free agent, and was snapped up by the Gunners late last month.
The Dutch midfielder has joined the club's Professional Development Phase ahead of the 2020/21 season and will be eligible to play for both the Under-18s as well as Steve Bould's Under-23s side.
But for now, he's training with the first-team.
With many senior players away on international duty, Salah-Eddine has been called up by Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta to train alongside the likes of Willian, Alexandre Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe and club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
For the 17-year-old, he is a little ahead of schedule after outlining his plans upon signing for the north London outfit.
"It feels great to join a massive club like Arsenal," he told the club's official website.
"It’s a good environment for me to work on my development and hopefully through the academy I can become a first-team player."
After getting a taste of first-team training, Salah-Eddine took to social media and issued a four-word response.
Uploading two images of him with Arteta and Willian to Instagram, the caption reads: "Kid on a mission."
A creative player, Salah spoke about what fans can expect from him as well as his ambitions for his upcoming debut season in English football.
"I’m a central midfielder and I like to play box to box. Offensively I’m a creative player and I can play with my left or right foot. I score goals and get assist, and defensively I like to think I do my bit too, especially in the transition," he said.
"First I want to become an important player in the under-23s and then eventually get involved with the first team in some capacity. I want to see what that’s like, but above all else, I want to have a really good season with the under-23s.
"Maybe if I do that then I’ll be able to join the first team here and there in training.
"Those are my targets."
