All heck is breaking loss in Oakland as it looks like wide receiver Antonio Brown is going to be suspended by the Raiders for at least a game or possibly the team could even say goodbye for good to the star player they traded for in the offseason.
This latest AB saga stems from a reported tiff he had with Raiders GM Mike Mayock yesterday in practice.
Mayock said that AB wouldn’t be with the team on Thursday and that they would have more to say on the situation later.
So while we wait for more from Oakland, we heard from New Orleans Saints star WR Michael Thomas, who came out of nowhere with this shot at Mayock:
Thomas was the 47th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Mayock at the time was working as a draft analyst for NFL Network and apparently had some other guys ahead of Thomas, who has had over 1,000 yards in all three of his seasons and is coming of the best year of his career.
Still, though, this shot at Mayock came out of nowhere and just adds to the craziness that is this situation with one of the best wide receivers in the game and the Raiders.
