Saints vs. Jaguars injury report: QB Gardner Minshew added to report with a groin injury

The Jacksonville Jaguars had two additions to their injury report Thursday, and those two players were quarterback Gardner Minshew II and receiver Marqise Lee. Minshew was added for minor groin soreness and practiced on a limited basis, while Lee sat out of practice to rest.

Veterans Brandon Linder, who rested Wednesday, and Calais Campbell, who was limited, both were upgraded to full participation Thursday. Meanwhile, defensive end Lerentee McCray (oblique) was downgraded after previously being limited on Wednesday.

The biggest name on the list, Jalen Ramsey, was limited again for the second consecutive day with a back injury. Owner Shad Khan came out to say that he believes the All-Pro will play this Sunday, however, Josina Anderson of ESPN reported that Ramsey plans to “listen to his body.” He’s been battling the injury for two weeks and has missed two games, so it goes without saying the team could use him with the New Orleans Saints coming into town.

Tight end Josh Oliver (hamstring), safety Ronnie Harrison (ankle) and nickelback D.J. Hayden (foot) all remained limited Thursday.

Meanwhile, on the Saints side, there were just a few changes. Running back Alvin Kamara was added to the report as limited with an ankle injury. Defensive end Trey Hendrickson (neck) didn’t practice Thursday after being limited on Wednesday.
