Saints RB Alvin Kamara dealing with high-ankle issue

The New Orleans Saints might be without one of their biggest offensive weapons come Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Saints running back Alvin Kamara is dealing with a high-ankle issue that will limit him during practice this week, according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

Despite dealing with an ankle injury, Kamara believes he still has a chance to play Sunday against Chicago.

Kamara was added to the Saints’ injury report last Thursday, where he was limited in practice. He didn’t practice Friday and was questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Kamara had 11 carries for only 31 yards and seven catches for 35 yards against the Jaguars, where he suffered a knee injury on top of that high-ankle injury.

If Kamara isn’t good to go or is limited against the Bears, the Saints will turn to Latavius Murray and Dwayne Washington in the backfield.
