The New Orleans released their initial injury report of the week. Some key players are, as expected, on the list. Five players sat out with injuries and another two were limited.

- RB Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle)
- CB Patrick Robinson (hamstring)
- WR Tre’Quan Smith (ankle)
Kamara missed the Saints’ last game and his status might not be known until Sunday. If Cook can’t play, that could be a break for the Cardinals, who have struggled defending tight ends. Both missed Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

- QB Drew Brees (thumb)
Brees is going to try and play. Whether he or Teddy Bridgewater ultimately starts might not be known until Sunday, much like the status of Kamara.
