The New Orleans Saints will get one offensive starter back in the lineup but another two will remain out. The Saints released their official inactive list for their Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Drew Brees will play, as expected.
However, starting running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Jared Cook are among the inactives. Here is the full list:
- WR Tre’Quan Smith
- CB Patrick Robinson
- RB Alvin Kamara
- OL Nick Easton
- OL Ethan Greenidge
- TE Jared Cook
- DE Carl Granderson
Cook and Smith were ruled out with the team’s final injury report on Friday. No Kamara means that Latavius Murray will shoulder the offensive load at running back. He rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns last week when Kamara missed the game against the Chicago Bears.
