The St Johnstone Community Trust will be delivering free evening meals to local children this month.
Teaming-up with the Perth club and Aviva, the kind-hearted gesture is being offered to kids aged between three and 16 in the Letham, Tulloch, Fairfield, North Muirton and Muirton areas.
A baked potato with choice of filling, a fruit smoothie and a piece of fruit can be delivered in Letham between 4.30pm and 6pm on Wednesday, March 24.
In Tulloch, Fairfield, North Muirton and Muirton, deliveries will be made at the same time but on Wednesday, March 31.
First team stars Zander Clark, Jason Kerr, Liam Gordon, Chris Kane and Guy Melamed were this week on video revealing their favourite baked potato filling as the initiative was launched.
Orders are now being accepted by the trust for Letham on March 24. There will be limited availability.
All food will be prepared and packaged by the St Johnstone team chef and orders must be submitted by Sunday, March 21 at 7pm.
A St Johnstone Community Trust spokesperson said: “It's been a tough year for everyone and we just want to let families know the community trust and the football club are here for them.
“We suspect there’s quite a lot of mixed emotions at the moment, home-schooling is coming to an end and pupils are returning to school.
“We’re just really keen to provide a night off from cooking and bring a smile to some faces.
“Aviva were eager to get involved and support the project too which has allowed us to expand the initiative and really make this a memorable door-step visit for families.”
