Saints defenders caught mocking Tarik Cohen’s height

The frustration was palpable for the Chicago Bears offense against the New Orleans Saints. And Bears running back Tarik Cohen found out the hard way what trash talking in a losing effort will get you from the Saints defense.

With about four minutes remaining in what a nightmare of a game, Cohen caught a pass for minus-6 yards near the Saints sideline. It was there where Cohen and Saints cornerback Eli Apple exchanged words, and Saints coach Sean Payton soon got involved, where it appeared he was trash talking Cohen.

And then things got ugly.

Saints safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson approached Cohen and raised his hand to the top of Cohen’s helmet in an attempt to mock Cohen’s 5-foot-6 stature. Apple followed suit.

But Cohen, who surely has heard the jokes about his height before and will continue to, shrugged it off on Twitter after the game.

The Bears fell to 3-3 on a season that feels like it’s spinning out of control to the point where teams are taking fun in the frustration.
