Saints announce inactive players for Week 9 game vs. Bears

The New Orleans Saints reported their list of inactive players for Week 9’s game with the Chicago Bears, who are down several starting defenders due to injuries — key starters like safety Jaquan Brisker and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds. The Saints, comparatively, are enjoying great health this late in the season. Their entire Week 1 starting lineup is available which isn’t something we’ve been able to say by Week 9 in recent years.

Here are the inactive lists from each team:

Chicago Bears inactive players:

  • G Nate Davis (injury)
  • CB Terrell Smith (illness)
  • S Jaquan Brisker (injury)
  • LB Tremaine Edmunds (injury)
  • QB Justin Fields (injury)
  • DL Dominique Robinson

New Orleans Saints inactive players:

  • LB Ty Summers (injury)
  • DE Kyle Phillips
  • QB Jake Haener
  • WR Keith Kirkwood
  • OL Nick Saldiveri
  • TE Jimmy Graham
