Hours after Kim Kardashian-West announced she was pregnant with her and Kanye West’s second child in June, betting odds on the name of the offspring were revealed with ‘South’ and ‘Easton’ leading the way.
Given the anticipation, it is therefore not surprising that two days after the birth of their son, when the couple announced his name: Saint West, mass hysteria broke out on social media.
The same thing happened back in 2013 after the birth of their daughter North when various directional/compass related memes and jokes took the stand.
The couple have not yet revealed the meaning behind their newborn’s moniker but given his father’s alter-ego is ‘Yeezus’, perhaps it's not really surprising.
