For a brief moment, nine-year-old Saint West was in command of an audience some 357 million strong, at least if Kim Kardashian’s recent social media post is to be believed.
The reality star was seemingly hacked by her eldest son on Thursday, when a bizarre image appeared on her feed with a call to action.
It featured a close up shot of Saint’s YouTube username, @S4intsking, and was accompanied by an overlaid text telling hundreds of millions of his mum’s followers to “Sub to Saint’s channel”.
He’s a Kardashian, after all, so he’s always going to get a plug in.
Fans were quick to speculate that Saint was behind the post, with one telling the heir to the Skims fortune to “put mom’s phone down”.
In another comment that unfortunately didn’t come to fruition, one follower asked Saint to “go get mommy’s credit card and post the card digits”.
The post still appears on Kim’s Instagram profile, so I’m thinking a time-out will be in order when she eventually discovers that Saint has ruined her muted tone aesthetic.
Saint’s YouTube channel has drawn attention in the past.
Last year, his former account on the video platform, @TheGoatSaint (sounds like his father), was deactivated after it shared an anti-Kamala Harris meme just ahead of the U.S. election.
If that was responsible for Donald Trump’s eventual victory, there’s absolutely nothing saintly about that.
Meanwhile, Saint’s sister, North West, has gotten up to all sorts of mischief on fellow video platform TikTok, where she went live and walked in on Kim in her bedroom.
The last time Kim was videoed in the bedroom, it birthed a billion-dollar empire, so maybe North was onto something there.
All that without even getting into the social media antics of the kids’ father, Kanye West, who at this point should throw his phone in the ocean.
