Saint Laurent Turns Everyday Activities into Something Extraordinary for Its New Campaign

Most of us don't live exciting lives. We wake up, eat a boring breakfast, chug our coffee, go to work, work and then go home to recover for the next day. We're getting tired of the same old routine, though. Thank goodness Saint Laurent is here to upend everything with its new An Ordinary Day campaign.

The ads are lensed by Martin Parr, who morphs "mundane rituals and moments of familial intimacy" into something special. So what does a typical day include? Taking your leopard-print tote to the farmers market to cart all manner of vegetables home. Or catching some rays decked out in a colorful brocade jacket while reclining on a chair boasting an eye-catching red floral pattern. Or dressing up for a truly eclectic yard sale. In this bizarro realm, pats of butter are decorated with brilliant Saint Laurent jewels. Or piled next to several slices of toast.
