Supermarket giant Sainsbury's has issued an urgent recall on some of its most purchased vegan products.
The retailer is recalling popular products Love Your Veg Butternut Squash and Lentil Lasagne.
The recall happened after Sainsbury's discovered that it actually contains the Sainsbury's Bolognese Melt, which contains milk, pork and beef.
According to Manchester Evening News, the recall only applies to products with the SKU code 7978371 with a use by date of July 17.
Sainsbury's has warned both vegan and vegetarian customers, as well as those who are lactose intolerant, not to eat the product and return it to the nearest store.
The recall stated: "It has been brought to our attention that packs of the above code of Sainsbury’s Love Your Veg Butternut Squash & Lentil Lasagne contain Sainsbury’s Bolognese Melt which contains milk, pork and beef that are not declared on the packaging.
"As a precautionary measure, we are asking customers who have purchased the above product with a use by date of 17 th July only and have an allergy or an intolerance to milk, or who do not eat pork or beef not to eat it and to return it to their nearest Sainsbury’s store, where they will receive a full refund.

The supermarket chain has put the issue down to a "packaging error" and is urgently investigating it with the supplier.
