Sainsbury’s has confirmed it is shaking up its meal deal offer next week - adding Costa Coffee to the menu with a new, increased price.
The supermarket is adding more than 300 items to the revamped promotion, with options such as hot pizza, chicken portions and filled baps to be included as mains.
Costa Coffee will be on the menu, providing you're choosing a regular size cup - and sausage rolls, potato wedges and hash browns will count as sides.
Breakfast foods for early commuters, like hash browns and porridge, will be available too.
Sainsbury’s currently charges £3 for its meal deal, which includes a main, snack and drink, but this price will go up to £3.50 with the new options.

In total, there will be around 500 items to choose from when the revamped offer rolls out on May 17.
Broken down, this will include 110 main meal options, 153 snacks, and 238 drinks to choose from.
A full list of choices has yet to be released by Sainsbury’s ahead of its launch, so we can't say which items will give you the best saving.
But it has said new options will include a plant-based “No Tuna & Sweetcorn” sandwich made out of chickpeas, and a Thai Green Chicken sandwich.

Sainsbury’s meal deals are available at convenience stores, superstores and petrol service stations.
Sainsbury’s Food to Go category manager Charlotte Alberry said: “Our new, great value On the Go meal deal will offer customers a vastly expanded choice of lunch and breakfast items, as well as hot food for the first time.
“We are also pleased to add hot drinks in the deal, including Costa Coffee, and delicious fresh pastries from our in-store bakeries.
“With over 500 products across main, snack and drink now included, the different combinations are endless, and we are sure we have something to suit everyone.”
The update from Sainsbury’s comes as the supermarket confirmed it is testing out in-store Carluccio’s cafes and restaurants in three locations.
The first format will be a coffee shop in Sainsbury’s St Albans superstore, opening on June 3 with space for 45 customers.
A Carluccio’s Counter will follow on June 4 in the Sainsbury’s Leamington Spa superstore, featuring deli takeaway options.
And the third concept, opening in Birmingham in July, will be a Restaurant Hub offering foods from brands like Caffe Carluccio’s, GBK, Slim Chickens, Harry Ramsdens and Ed’s Easy Diner.
