Sainsbury's is cutting the price of fuel for its shoppers over the long bank holiday weekend.
The supermarket giant is giving customer 10p per litre off fuel when they spend £60 or more on groceries from tomorrow until 28 May as part of its 150 anniversary.
Shoppers will receive a voucher to redeem the fuel savings with any eligible purchases made in store or online at sainsburys.co.uk . Then shoppers have up to 14 days to use it at their local Sainsbury’s petrol station.
But the fuel price cuts are not the only birthday treat Sainsbury’s has to offer its customers, shoppers can also pick up between 24 and 27 May too.
Mark Given, Director of Marketing at Sainsbury’s said, “We’re really excited to celebrate our 150 birthday with customers this week and wanted to give them their very own birthday treat. We’ve been helping our customers live well for less for the past 150 years and what better way to celebrate than to provide an extra boost to shoppers’ Nectar point balances during the bank holiday weekend and enable them to save money when they fill up.”
How the fuel offer works?

Head to your local Sainsbury’s store or go online to sainsburys.co.uk and spend £60 between Thursday 23 and Tuesday 28 May 2019.

Qualifying customers will receive a fuel discount coupon at the checkout or with their online groceries order.

Customers will then have 14 days to redeem the offer at any one of Sainsbury’s 306 petrol forecourts, where they can fill up on discounted unleaded petrol, diesel or LPG up to a maximum of 100 litres.

Customers will also be able to collect Nectar points on every fill-up, with one point awarded for every litre purchased.
Shoppers, aged 16 and over, will only be issued one coupon per qualifying supermarket store or online grocery transaction, but coupons will not issued on shops from Sainsbury's Central or Local stores.
Only one ‘money off’ fuel coupon can be used per vehicle at Sainsbury’s branded forecourts and coupons are not valid on any Pay@Pump transactions.
