A Sainsbury's shopper was left 'grossed out' when her delivery man returned to 'check her out' after dropping off groceries.
The customer was 'horrified' when the staff member showed up at her door again and revealed the "real reason" he came back was to see her again.
The woman in her 20s felt vulnerable and scared when the creepy driver went to her home two hours after dropping off her messages.
She has now been locking her bedroom door at night and her bought security cameras for her flat after the incident, which happened at 8pm on January 18.
Sainsbury's is now "urgently investigating" the claims, reports The Mirror.
In an interview with Metro, she said the Sainsbury's employee told her when he returned: "I forgot a couple of things, but the real reason I came back was to check you out again."
The woman said: "When he was initially at my house I had to keep coming out to pick up the food and I thought he was sort of leering towards me, or inappropriately staring. But there was nothing I could really say so I brushed it under the carpet.
"Then when he came back, I think I laughed in reaction because it was so insane. I was horrified. I’m a young woman, living on my own, in a ground floor flat, in quite a busy area. I felt pretty grossed out by it."
Her friends encouraged her to report the incident.
She said it was her "local" Sainsbury's and she assumes the driver lives in the area, which makes her feel "unsafe".
The customer, who is currently working from home, feared he might show up again.
She said she lodged a complaint with Sainsbury's but wasn't satisfied with the way it was handled by a customer service representative.
The staff member apologised for the "inconvenience" and assured her drivers don't normally act that way, she said.
The woman said she is waiting for Sainsbury's to deal with the matter and explain how it will ensure her safety and make sure other female customers are not harassed.
A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s said an investigation was underway.
The spokesperson told the Mirror: "We take allegations of this nature extremely seriously.
"We are in contact with the customer and are urgently investigating."
