Sainsbury's say they will clear mounds of dumped clothes from Filton branch

Sainsbury's have confirmed they will clear some dumped waste which has been found at the branch in Filton.

It comes after people complained about the clothes and general waste which has built up over time and was identified by someone yesterday evening (April 6).

A person, who wanted to remain anonymous, got in contact with Bristol Live to express concerns about the waste which has built up in Filton.

The key worker described how there is no need for people to leave waste like this on the floor by fly tipping in the area.

They came across the waste yesterday evening whilst picking up essential items from the store.

They said: "I'm an essential worker and was on the way home from work.

"I stopped in Sainsbury's to get some essentials and saw the waste.

"It looks quite bad I would say. Especially with hygiene and germs being a big thing lately."
