Sure, New Year, new us and all that, but it's also it's inevitable you'll need to head out for some extra supermarket supplies at some point today.
For anyone that's thinking of heading off to their local Sainsbury's, do beware that as it's a Bank Holiday, most supermarkets will be operating at reduced opening hours. We have all just been welcoming in a new decade, after all.

Sainsbury's New Year's Day opening times:
- 1 January 2020 (New Year's Day) - Most Sainsbury's stores will be open from 9am - 5pm, local stores 9am - 9pm.
- 2 January - Normal Sainsbury's opening hours resume.
