If you've got a Sainsbury's Nectar Card you might want to avoid spending your points for now.
The supermarket is expected to launch its 'Double-Up' event very soon, which means shoppers can get more for their money.
During the event, points will be worth twice as much and it's looking like the promotion will begin this week.
A post last week on hotdealsuk read: "Hey all, huge bit of insider info from one of our hotukdeals members [...] From 30th October 2019 until 19th November Sainsbury's will be running a 'Double Up' promo."
Last year shoppers were able to take advantage of the deal on selected cosmetics, skincare and frangrance. The deal also tends to apply to items like gifts, toys, homeware and Christmas decorations.
Last year the Double-Up event began on October 29 online and November 5 in stores, so it's looking likely it will launch this week.
What is the Nectar Rewards Double-Up event and how does it work?
Double-Up is an event where Nectar points are worth twice as much when spent in store.
If the offer works the same as last year, it will mean that up to £200 of Double-Up vouchers can be spent in 11 selected categories.
The promotion lets you double the value of your points, on selected items and points can be exchanged for Double-Up vouchers.
Each 1,000 points exchanged for a Double-Up voucher is worth £10, which is twice the usual £5. Points can be exchanged for vouchers online or in most stores.
You can then spend vouchers in store. Last year there was a certain time period for redeeming vouchers.
