Sainsbury’s has rolled out delivery partnerships with Uber Eats and Deliveroo in a bid to further expand its home delivery options.
The supermarket giant said that customers will have access to more than 1,000 products with rapid deliveries through the tie-ups, which will start in London before being expanded elsewhere in the UK.
Uber Eats has said it will begin fulfilling Sainsbury’s orders through its app from its Camden superstore before expanding this to a further nine sites.
Meanwhile, Deliveroo is starting a service from Sainsbury’s North End Crescent Local store in Hammersmith before also expanding to nine more shops.
