Supermarket giant Sainsbury’s is offering rewards to shoppers using one specific aisle - and many don’t even realise it.
The retailer has confirmed it will offer rewards through its Nectar scheme for fruit and vegetable purchases as its ‘The Great Big Fruit and Veg Challenge’ returns.
The challenge will see shoppers able to earn bonus Nectar points for buying from the fruit and veg aisle until June 28, reports BirminghamLive .

Mark Given, Sainsbury’s chief marketing officer, said: “As part of our new brand commitment to Help Everyone Eat Better, we are bringing back The Great Big Fruit and Veg Challenge and giving customers the opportunity to earn bonus Nectar points when they purchase fruit and veg throughout June.
“We hope that by participating in the challenge, customers are inspired to pack in more nutritious food, while getting more out of their points balance.
“As a supermarket serving communities across the country, we have a responsibility to encourage our customers to eat delicious food that is healthier for people and better for the planet, and the challenge is one of the many ways we are doing this.”
The Nectar scheme is one of the most popular supermarket loyalty and rewards schemes in the country, alongside Morrisons’ More, M&S’ Sparks card and Tesco’s Clubcard.
Sainsbury’s scheme recently underwent a ‘shake up’ which changed how regularly shoppers would be given vouchers to use in store or online.
The retailer will instead be focusing on providing shoppers with personalised deals and offers.
