If you're planning to pop into your local Sainsbury's branch on Easter Monday, you'll be able to pick up a few extra Easter eggs and store cupboard items.
This is because last week by the chain announced it was relaxing stockpiling restrictions on certain items ahead of the Easter weekend to help its customers.
But it is best to check opening times using the store locator tool for your local Superstore or Local convenience shop before heading out first.
Store opening times will vary from region to region, with many larger stores closing earlier than normal in England and Wales.
Easter opening times
- Easter Sunday 12 April - All Sainsbury's stores in England and Wales will be closed. All stores in Scotland will operate normal opening hours.
- Easter Monday 13 April - Most Sainsbury's stores will open from 8am to 8pm.
Sainsbury's has also adapted it opening hours to offer NHS ID holders priority access from Monday to Saturday between 7:30am and 8am.
Elderly customers, carers and disabled customers also have priority access every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 8am and 9am.
