Sainsbury's customers spot hidden message from fed-up worker on website

A Sainsbury's employee showed their frustration in a hidden message on the supermarket's online shop.

The supermarket worker appears to have gone rogue, sneaking a cheeky message of dismay below the description of plant-based sausages, reports Birmingham Live.

The pea protein based product description started pretty normal but then took a bizarre turn as the worker detailed their unhappiness at work.

The message may have went unnoticed by many, but some eagle eyed shoppers spotted what appeared to be a secret message left by a copywriter working for the supermarket giant.

It description began: "Plant-based sausages made from pea protein. 100% Plant-Based. High in Protein and Fibre. Suitable for Vegetarians & Vegans."

The product description included a pretty bizarre message. (Sainsbury's)

But then followed by saying: "Nobodyreadddssstheeeseeee spaaarrreeeee spppapaaa ccceee onnn thissorryThisssssssspaaackkkkkk uuuuu uuuuuuuuummmrrmmmmmmmmm haveitthewordcountyetwhambamthankyoumamsupercalafragilisticex piealidocious fillerfillerfillerfilleryesssssss icannntttbellliievvveethiisismyyyjobbbblollllllllsssbyeee."

The words "nobody reads these", "filler filler filler" and "I can't believe this is my job" could be read in the message among other nonsense.

Sainsbury's has been contacted for a comment.

Sainsbury's is cutting the amount of plastic in its Halloween range this year, eliminating more than 15 tonnes from circulation.

The supermarket has scrapped plastic trick or treat buckets and stopped laminating its paper plates and bowls.

It has also scrapped some of the plastic packaging that houses its popular items, like wreaths, signs and lights.

This year, the retailer will only be selling edible pumpkins, encouraging shoppers to use their recipes to turn their spooky jack-o-lanterns into tasty dishes.
