A Sainsbury's customer has taken to Twitter to complain about the 'measly' portion size of one of the supermarket chain's ready meals.
Twitter user Shane Mitchell (@shanetoner00) shared an image of a chicken dinner he purchased from Sainsbury's for £4. Tagging the store, he wrote: "@sainsburys look at this portion size for a chicken dinner the chicken is a measly smear not worth the £4.00 can barely call it a chicken dinner."
The image showed a small portion of chicken served up alongside peas, a few carrot batons and three small potatoes. The customer did not elaborate on which store he had bought the chicken dinner from.

Replying to the tweet, Sainsbury's said: "Terribly sorry about the chicken dinner, Shane! Can you DM us using the link below your name, address including postcode, email and Nectar card number? Can you also send over a picture of the barcode and which store you purchased the dinner from? Thanks, Greer".
The ECHO contacted Sainsbury's for further comment. A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said, “We are in touch with Shane to apologise for the disappointment and to offer a small gesture of goodwill which he can put towards his next shop with us.”
