With Black Friday taking place next month, supermarket giant Sainsbury’s is set to take part in the annual discount day for another year.
As expected, the supermarket isn’t giving much away as of yet. But looking at last year's discounts, we’re hoping it’s going to be even bigger and better - perfect for those of us who want to snap up a fantastic saving before Christmas too.
There’s already a Black Friday section on tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/black-friday, so make sure you bookmark that page to get ready for the big day, which takes place on 27 November.
We expect the sale to take place online at tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk and sainsburys.co.uk as well as in stores across the UK too. To find your nearest Sainsbury’s supermarket and check opening times, use the store locator online here.
What to expect from Sainsbury’s Black Friday 2020 sale?

Sainsbury's shoppers can expect savings on selected technology, clothing and homewares in this year's Black Friday sale.
Sainsbury's have confirmed for fashion it will "have sales across loads of styles, so save the date and get ready to shop our women’s Black Friday clothing sale and men’s Black Friday clothing sale right here on Tu".
Where to shop Black Friday deals online?
Last year, a generous 25% discount was taken off all Tu Clothing - including back to school uniform items over Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
The supermarket also partnered with Argos for their Black Friday deals. Their Black Friday page directed customers to the superstore’s website, which offered a huge selection of deals on everything from tech to toys.
For Cyber Weekend, Sainsbury's offered huge reductions on TU Clothing that were available in store and online - good news for those of us who don’t live close enough to a larger Sainsbury’s store.
What deals are currently available?
Sainsbury's is currently offering 25% off selected autumn essentials - including coats, sweaters, jumpers and jeans. Perfect timing for if you fancy treating yourself to a new wardrobe for winter.
As for menswear, there’s 50% off selected formal wear. That includes short and long sleeved shirts, ties, trousers and jackets.
When is Black Friday?

Every year, Black Friday falls on the day after the US Thanksgiving holiday.
For 2020, it will take place on Friday, November 27th and Cyber Monday will take place on Monday, November 30th.
Shoppers who can’t resist a bargain can expect a large number of retailers to launch their Black Friday offers a few weeks before the big day.
