Said Benrahma to Chelsea transfer 'confirmed' as close friend drops major hint on Instagram

Chelsea's summer transfer activity is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

The Blues have already been bolstered with the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner ahead of the 2020/21 season, with the duo set to link up with the first-team squad later this month.

In addition, links to Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Kai Havertz refuse to go away. The latest report is that the Germany international has requested to be sold to Chelsea this summer.

Frank Lampard on Willian's form amid contract uncertainty

But are the Blues are already working on a deal for the £90m-rated Havertz future teammate?

Judging by some interesting developments on social media that would appear to be the case as a major Said Benrahma to Chelsea transfer hint has been dropped.

As reported by football.london, the Blues are among several clubs to have watched the Algeria international closely this season and scouts were in attendance at Griffin Park last weekend as the Bees took on Wigan Athletic.

And Benrahma stole the show with a sublime hat-trick to show why he's on the radar of the west London outfit.

However, the Blues may have concluded a deal for the attacking midfielder as he's been congratulated on a move to Frank Lampard's side already.

During an Instagram live, his friend Fahd Moufi wrote in the comments: "Congratulations on Chelsea my brother..."

Has Moufi just 'confirmed' the Said Benrahma to Chelsea transfer?

With both Pedro and Willian potentially leaving at the end of the season, Benrahma could be the perfect addition to the Chelsea squad.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank, has refused to be drawn on the future of his key player but speaking to football.london last month, he outlined why Benrahma is so important to their promotion push.

“Said is a top player in this top division, an extremely important player for our team,” Frank said.

"We know if we want a chance of achieving what we are thinking about he and our top players need to be on top form."
