Arsenal have completed the signing of Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes for an undisclosed fee.
The Brazilian, who was attracting interest from the likes of Everton and Napoli, has put pen to paper on a long-term deal at the Emirates Stadium.
The centre-back becomes Mikel Arteta's fourth signing of the summer, following on from the arrivals of Cedric Soares, Pablo Mari and former Chelsea winger Willian.
Gabriel's arrival will significantly bolster the Gunners' defensive options, with Arteta having been eager to add a new centre-back to his ranks all summer.
Though Arsenal have only announced Gabriel's arrival this afternoon, the deal has been in the works for a few weeks, with Arsenal having struck an agreement with Lille.
But now that the deal has been concluded, the Gunners supporters have been quick to react on social media and welcome their newest arrival to the Emirates Stadium.

On landing Gabriel, head coach Arteta told Arsenal's club website: “We welcome Gabriel to Arsenal. He has many qualities which will make us stronger as a defensive unit and as a team.
"He has proved with Lille that he is a defender with many outstanding attributes and we are looking forward to watching him grow as an Arsenal player.”
