Free agent defensive back Maurice Alexander has visits scheduled with both the Rams and the Bills this week, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.
Alexander, 28, played in nine games for the Seahawks last season, primarily as a special teamer. He recorded 10 combined tackles, nine solo.
Prior to joining the Seahawks, Alexander spent the previous four seasons with the Rams. He was their starter at free safety in 2016, recording 50 combined tackles, two interceptions and one sack.
Seattle has already lost a lot of depth in their secondary this offseason, including Justin Coleman and Earl Thomas. Losing Alexander would hurt Seattle’s depth in the secondary, although it doesn’t seem likely that they bring him back – especially not if he already has a handful of suitors.
Whether he returns to the Rams, signs with the Bills or ends up elsewhere remains to be seen, but it does seem like the safety is going to be inking a deal soon.
