Sadness has been felt across Merseyside after a woman was found dead in her car outside B&Q.
Emergency services were called to the JunctionOne retail park in Bidston Moss early on Thursday morning.
Paramedics and police were told that a woman was unresponsive inside her car but she was sadly pronounced dead shortly after they arrived at the scene.
Shortly after the tragic news was confirmed by Merseyside Police, tributes began pouring in on Facebook for the young woman, believed to be in her 30s.
One woman, Julie Mealey said: "How sad. Poor woman."
Georgina Taylor also said: "Very sad, RiP."
Rebecca Lacey added: "Poor lady RIP."
Dozens of others also shared their condolences to the woman's family on social media.
Jane Dawson Falcone said: "Poor lady. Rest in peace."
Police said that officers are currently treating the death as "unexplained" and, at this time, are treating it as not suspicious.
The woman has not yet been formally identified by police but her next of kin have been informed.
North West Ambulance Service confirmed that paramedics attended the incident shortly before 8.30am but that no-one was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that emergency services are in Wallasey, Wirral, this morning (Thursday 2 July) following the death of a woman in her 30s.
"At around 8.35am, we were called to reports of a woman being found in a car in JunctionONE Retail Park, Bidston Moss.
"She was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. Her death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
"The woman has not been formally identified, but next of kin have been informed.
"A cordon is in place on the retail park as our enquiries continue and we would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation."
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.26am to Bidston Moss Retail Park.
"An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.
"No-one was taken to hospital."
