Sadistic sex killer Graham Dwyer still bombarded with love letters from female admirers in prison

SADISTIC sex killer Graham Dwyer is still being bombarded with love letters from female admirers in prison, Dublin Live can reveal.

Women “obsessed” by the convict continue to write messages to him five years after he was jailed for murdering tragic child care worker Elaine O’Hara.

In April 2015, Dwyer was handed a life sentence, which he is serving on the G2 Wing in the Midlands Prison, Portlaoise.

According to a source, the 47-year-old loves the attention he receives from women around the world who continue to write to him.

The source said: “Dwyer still receives loads of fan and love letters from women five years on. He has a strong following and some women write to him all the time. They are obsessed with him.

“They look at him as though he was a celebrity which is strange considering the sick crime he was sentenced for.

“And it’s not just women from Ireland who write to him – he gets letters from all over the world.”

Dwyer’s trial shocked the world after his secret obsession with S&M and sexual violence was exposed. The source added: “He gets a lot of fan letters from fans of BDSM too. They must have read about what he was involved in before being jailed.”

The former architect, from Foxrock, Co Dublin, denied stabbing 36-year-old Elaine to death for his own sexual pleasure on August 22, 2012. Sentencing him, Judge Tony Hunt gave a scathing rebuke to this “very dangerous man” during the hearing.

In February, the Supreme Court referred Dwyer’s appeal over the access and retention of his mobile phone data to the EU’s Court of Justice.

Chief Justice Frank Clarke said it could take six months before there is a final decision.
