Sadio Mane steps up fitness at Real Mallorca - and sings Roberto Firmino song

Sadio Mane appeared to make a surprise move to Real Mallorca on transfer deadline day - but he made sure to treat the Spanish side to a little slice of Liverpool.

The Reds attacker is currently sidelined with the muscle injury he picked up in the 2-1 victory at Wolves earlier this month.

Mane missed Wednesday's 2-0 victory at West Ham with the problem, and will also sit out the visit of his former club Southampton to Anfield on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp appears to have allowed Mane to travel to Spain while he recovers from the problem, and on Friday the forward uploaded a video from what appears to be Real Mallorca's gym, where he can be heard singing the Liverpool fans' 'Si Senor' song for Roberto Firmino.

The Mallorca players in the gym also seem to be joining in, and no doubt enjoying the company of their high-profile visitor.

Liverpool have a good relationship with Mallorca, who have allowed the Reds' players to use their facilities in the past as they recover from injuries.

In June last year Adam Lallana posted to Instagram thank the club for allowing him to use their training base while he was on holiday, whilst also congratulating them on their promotion to La Liga.

Klopp discussed Mane's injury ahead of the West Ham, and said he expects him back after Liverpool's winter break.

“Sadio will not be involved for West Ham and probably not for Southampton,” he said.

“After that he should be fine.

"The week we have then after that is for him perfect to get back on track.

“He has a small muscle tear, which is serious enough to keep him out. We were lucky with the injury as well, so it was not that serious.

“But of course, when you have three games in a week then that means he is out for these three games.”
