Sadio Mane says the words every Liverpool fan wants to hear and explains difference between Salah and Firmino

Liverpool striker Sadio Mane has revealed he wants to play for Liverpool 'forever'.

The Senegal international moved to Anfield from Southampton in 2016, and since then Mane has gone on to score 68 goals in 136 appearances.

His remarkable return helped lead the Reds to Champions League and Super Cup glory earlier this year, and his exerts have also saw him named on the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d'Or.

Speaking to Norwegian broadcaster TV2 , Mane told: "I am very happy to be part of this great club and I enjoy it. Hopefully I stay here forever.

"I've been to some clubs around the world, but Liverpool is unique. It's like a family. The mood is always incredible.

"But it's normal that we've been together for four years and know each other. We are also together off the field and that is important for morale."

Mane has struck up a scintillating partnership with Liverpool forwards Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino since the Salah's arrival in 2017.

When asked about his relationship with the duo, the 27-year-old admitted: "It's easy to work with them. Personally, I feel lucky to get to play with them.

"They are really good players and make everything easier. Mo is fun sometimes. He is a cool and nice guy.

"Bobby is very shy. He is the most shy football player I have ever met, but very nice."
