Sadio Mane names ex-Liverpool team-mate ahead of Mohamed Salah in surprise finisher verdict

Ex-Liverpool star Sadio Mane has named Divock Origi as the best finisher he has shared the pitch with during his professional career.

Lucky enough to have been team-mates with a number of world-class players over the years, Mane's best years arrived on Merseyside while leading the Reds' attack alongside the likes of Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

The Senegalese star brought to an end his Liverpool stay last summer after experiencing great success under Jurgen Klopp's stewardship, declaring his need for a new challenge as the main motivator for him moving to Munich.

It goes without saying those who Mane played alongside will have earned his utmost respect, though it may come as a surprise for some Origi has been selected as the most ruthless operator within the final third out of any individual over the course of his career.

Indeed, this was the answer provided by the 30-year-old when taking part in an 1teamsports video on TikTok, which also saw the 2019 Champions League winner select Jordan Henderson as the greatest leader he has known.
