Desperately needing a win against Nuno Espirito Santo’s to take advantage of any possible Manchester City mistake, it was Trent Alexander-Arnold again who turned playmaker down the right wing.
The 20-year-old collected Jordan Henderson’s pass, darted to the byline before fizzing a low cross towards the six-yard box.
After escaping the Wolves’ defenders last-ditch attempts to clear, the ball then fell to Mane at the back post who slotted in with ease past Rui Patricio.
