Sadam Ali (26-1, 14 KO) will defend his WBO super welterweight title against Jaime Munguia (28-0, 24 KO).

It’s the second straight week HBO will be broadcasting a late-night boxing card following Gennady Golovkin’s second-round demolition of Vanes Martirosyan. This fight could go a little longer than that one and here’s how you can watch.
- Date: Saturday, May 12
- Time: 10 pm ET
- TV: HBO
- Stream: HBO GO (Replay)
The Ali-Munguia bout won’t have to contend with the NBA Playoffs and it begins right after an ESPN Boxing event featuring Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Jorge Linares. There will be competition from the back end of Bellator 199, which will almost certainly include the event’s main event between Ryan Bader and King Mo.
Ali-Munguia will also run parallel with UFC 224′s main card on pay-per-view. The PPV’s main event (Amanda Nunes vs. Raquel Pennington) isn’t one of the promotion’s strongest. That said, Ali–who is the headliner–isn’t one of boxing’s biggest draws at this point.
Ali’s last fight peaked at over 1 million views, but that bout was against future Hall of Famer Miguel Cotto in his final fight. Munguia is a strong young fighter, but the numbers for this fight could be significantly lower.
