'Sad Orange b*****d' Rangers kitman Jimmy Bell the target of sectarian abuse from Celtic fan

Rangers kitman Jimmy Bell has again been subjected to sectarian abuse from a Celtic fan.

A Hoops supporter was caught on camera screaming "sad Orange b*****d" at Bell during Sunday’s game at Celtic Park.

As the Rangers staff member sorted kit in the away technical area, the fan – sitting at the side of the dugout – continually shouted, "Yes Jimmy Bell, ya sad Orange b*****d".

Bell ignored the insult and carried on working. It’s not the first time the kitman – who has been at Rangers since the Graeme Souness era – has been the subject of sectarian abuse.

Sick footage appeared online in February of a young Celtic fan singing he was a "sad Orange b*****d" before adding, "I hope he dies".

The incident at Celtic Park wasn’t the only example of sectarian chanting. Rangers boss Steven Gerrard was also branded a "sad Orange b*****d" before half time while away fans were heard signing the Billy Boys before the game.

Three people were stabbed following the match after a city centre brawl between rival sets of supporters.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon admitted before the match he fears fixture will forever be dogged by bigotry.
