April 18--With his season having already come to a close, Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay is turning his attention to business away from the court. He's put his home in the suburbs of Memphis, Tenn., up for sale at $1.749 million.
The 29-year-old Gay bought the property six years ago for about $1.176 million and created a contemporary living space featuring cool-toned interiors. Modern light fixtures, dark wood floors and neutral hues give the approximately 8,400-square-foot house a classic yet sophisticated look.
Among eye-catching details is a two-story living room with a white chandelier, a mirrored fireplace and a wall of windows. The chef's kitchen has a vibrant tiled backsplash, and a media room sports a wet bar embellished with custom lighting.
