A sacked Amazon driver says a woman seen sneaking out the back of his van is his partner - as he hinted at what really happened between them.
In the bizarre clip, the woman is spotted crawling out of the back door of driver Tywan George's van.
The footage went viral on TikTok, and one week later Tywan was sacked.
He has now revealed the woman in the video is his partner and insisted he was "just doing his job".
Tywan told a TMZ reporter in a video call: "It was just a one time incident, but I did what any other man in America would do."
He continued: "I felt like losing my job was the worse that they could do to me, there was no packages reported missing, nothing was reported stolen.
"It was just the incident went viral, that's what cost my my job.
"I kind of knew it too once I'd seen the video going viral, once it got a million views on TikTok, I kind of knew it because I know Amazon are strict."
Answering questions specifically about what he was doing in the back of the truck in the viral video, he said he was "just doing his job."
Filmed in July, 2019, in a residential neighbourhood, of Florida, the clip shows the doors slowly being pushed open.
A blonde woman dressed in a black dress and flip flops is then seen sneaking out the door and casually going on her way.
She looks like she is taking a phone from her dress to make a call as she leaves the van.
The clip emerged on TikTok and has gathered more than 11 million views.
Users of the social networking platform started going into a frenzy in the comment section and posted puns and innuendos about what had been going on.
One poster wrote: "Package will be delivered in 9 months. Thank you"
While another suggestive comment said: "He was just showing her his package"
Others suggested it was a new service provided by the delivery giant: "This is Amazons new back door service!"
