'Sack him now!' - Man United tipped to make Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decision before Arsenal clash

Arsenal face Manchester United at Old Trafford at the beginning of next month.

However, some supporters believe there will be a managerial change before the meeting between two of English football's biggest clubs on December 2, 2021.

Pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to increase once again following Man United's 2-0 defeat in the Manchester derby on Saturday afternoon.

An own goal from Eric Bailly and Bernardo Silva's strike at the end of the first-half put Manchester City in cruise control going into half-time - and in truth the scoreline could have been bigger had it not been for David de Gea being in inspired form.

The second half was much more of a low-key affair, but the Red Devils never really looked like getting back into the game.

Even with Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Donny van de Beek coming off the bench, United never really threatened Ederson's goal and it's now back-to-back losses at Old Trafford in the league.

With that 5-0 home defeat by Liverpool still fresh in the mind, losing at the 'Theatre of Dreams' to another rival has left some Man United fans to think there's no way back for the Norwegian.

Despite games against Watford, Villarreal and Chelsea to come, many are adamant that Solskjaer will be given his marching orders before the big Arsenal clash.

Take a look at what's been said on Twitter...

Meanwhile, some Arsenal fans are in agreement with their Man United counterparts, although they are keen for the club to hold off on any decision until after they've visited Old Trafford.

@GilbertYAB said: "Ole should be allowed to stay until he plays Arsenal before he's sacked."

@Gbollyjay said: "Please let Arsenal face Man Utd before y’all sack Ole. The question is not if Arsenal will win but by how many goals."
