Sacha Baron Cohen 'secretly films sequel to Borat movie' in Los Angeles

Jagshemash! - there's excellent news for fans of Sacha Baron Cohen 's Kazakhstani comedy creation Borat because it seems a sequel to the 2006 hit movie has been shot in secret.

While little is known so far about the follow-up to the original 2006 film - Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan - there have been sightings of Baron Cohen yet again portraying the popular character on the streets of Los Angeles.

Former New York City Mayor and Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani also reportedly called the police on Cohen recently after he turned up for an interview with him whilst dressed in a pink bikini.

All of which adds to the rumours already doing the rounds in Hollywood that a feature-length film has already been completed and is currently being passed among studio execs to see who'll be the first to bid for it.

But, while details about the project may be pretty scarce, industry insiders seemed to think the project could end up streaming into our homes sometime in 2021.

And, with Baron Cohen's most recent project - espionage drama The Spy - having featured on Netflix late last year, some are saying it's a good bet that Borat 2 will follow suit.

Baron Cohen, who shot to fame as wannabe rude boy Ali G in the late '90s, is the son of late millionaire businessman Gerald Baron Cohen, who once owned a string of businesses in Cardiff and Newport alongside his brother Vivian.

However, the family clothing empire was originally started from scratch in Pontypridd by the funnyman's grandfather Morris, who grew up in the Valleys town after leaving Eastern Europe.

Their company went on to buy out Calders department store in the capital in the 1960s, a shop which had already established itself as long-standing favourite amongst city shoppers.

It finally shut its doors in Christmas 2013 after going out of business.
