Sabrina Carpenter recently made headlines with her playful comments about Irish actor Cillian Murphy at Vanity Fair's Oscars party. The 24-year-old singer expressed her admiration for Murphy, jokingly mentioning that she would leave the party with him and even follow his car to see where he lives. Carpenter's date for the event, actor Barry Keoghan, playfully responded to her comments with emojis, sparking speculation among fans.

Despite the light-hearted nature of Carpenter's remarks, some fans pointed out that Murphy is happily married to Yvonne McGuinness. Others defended Carpenter, emphasizing that it was all in good fun.

Romance rumors between Keoghan and Carpenter first surfaced in December 2023 when they were seen dining together in Los Angeles. Keoghan later showed his support for Carpenter by attending her performance at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Singapore. Sources revealed that Keoghan's efforts to support Carpenter have brought them closer together.

While the couple has not publicly confirmed their relationship, Keoghan subtly acknowledged it by wearing a friendship bracelet with Carpenter's name. Their affectionate display at the Oscars party further fueled speculation about their romance.

Keoghan and Murphy, who previously starred together in 'Dunkirk,' have maintained a supportive relationship. Both actors have celebrated each other's successes, with Murphy recently winning an Oscar for Best Actor for his role in 'Oppenheimer.'

In his acceptance speech, Murphy expressed pride in his Irish heritage and dedicated his award to peacemakers worldwide. He concluded his speech with a traditional Irish saying, 'Go raibh míle maith agaibh,' meaning 'Thank you very much.'

Keoghan's nomination for a Golden Globe and Murphy's recent accolades highlight the success of Irish talent in the entertainment industry. As their careers continue to flourish, fans eagerly anticipate future projects from these talented actors.
