Sabri Lamouchi will hope to have new arrivals in at Nottingham Forest before West Brom opener

Sabri Lamouchi wants at least three new players at Nottingham Forest before the transfer window closes and the coming days could prove to be a hugely important period for the new Reds head coach.

That was the Frenchman’s own assessment, after seeing his side held to a 2-2 draw in their final pre-season friendly before the Championship campaign gets underway with the visit of West Brom a week from today. 

Lamouchi still hopes to add at least one striker to his ranks and admitted that a midfielder was also on his shopping list after Ben Osborn completed his move to Sheffield United.

On the pitch, Lamouchi watched his side take an early lead through Joe Worrall’s controlled finish following a well-worked corner, before an Aro Muric error helped Roberto Lopez to an equaliser.

Lewis Grabban then took advantage of a goalkeeping mistake at the other end to put the Reds 2-1 up before the break, only to see the La Liga side make it 2-2 through substitute Djouahra who made it 2-2 with a couple of minutes remaining at the City Ground.
