Sabri Lamouchi will be 'very fortunate' if he remains Nottingham Forest manager

Sabri Lamouchi will be a lucky man if he is still in charge of Nottingham Forest after the international break.

That is the verdict of Reds correspondent Sarah Clapson, who was speaking on our post match verdict on our Facebook page, after the 2-1 defeat to Bristol City on Saturday.

"I think he'll be very fortunate if he is. He was on thin ice last week," Sarah said when asked if Lamouchi would keep his job.

"He's practically in the ice pool now. That wasn't a sacking performance in the second half.

"If you go on that alone you could say the players are behind him and there's something there.

"Five defeats, that's terrible. That's woeful form. If you're any manager on that kind of run then your future is in jeopardy.

"It's a big, big call to make. A lot of the players that have come in are Lamouchi's players.

"It's his squad. If someone new comes in do they want to make changes?

"Do you go through that whole cycle again? Who do you get in?

"There's a lot of names being bandied about. I'm not sure some of those names would want the job."
