Sabri Lamouchi reveals what's 'really important' for Chema Rodriguez at Nottingham Forest

Chema Rodriguez has arrived at Nottingham Forest, following his transfer deadline day move to the City Ground from Levante.

And Reds boss Sabri Lamouchi insists it is important to find the "best way" to integrate the 27-year-old into his team.

Rodriguez, who has signed a two-year deal with the club, trained with his new teammates for the first time on Monday.

Lamouchi has not ruled out the possibility of the Spanish defender making his debut in their Carabao Cup tie against Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night, but it does seem unlikely he will rush him into action.

“He had his first session with us on Monday," he said.

“We will see whether we put him straight in.

“He has had his first training session and we need to respect the process.

“He didn’t sign just for the cup, he signed for the whole year, so it is really important to introduce him in the best way."
