Sabri Lamouchi reveals Nottingham Forest team to face Leeds United

Despite a host of new signings before the closure of the transfer window on Thursday, Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi named the same starting XI that lost to West Brom a week ago.

There was, however, places on the bench for new goalkeeping arrival Brice Samba, Carl Jenkinson and Samba Sow.

The Reds will be hoping to start well away from home, having lost their opening day clash with the Baggies a week ago, a game which was also live on television.

Once again, there’s no Costel Pantilimon in the squad, while the injury list sees the likes of Joao Carvalho, Ryan Yates and Tendayi Darikwa all missing.

Despite the arrival of Jenkinson, Matty Cash was again deployed at right-back, with captain Jack Robinson on the left, Michael Dawson and Joe Worrall in the middle.

Ben Watson was the sitting midfielder with Alfa Semedo and Tiago Silva further forward, while Joe Lolley and Albert Adomah were playing off Lewis Grabban in attack, as Forest look for just a second away win in the last 15 Championship trips.

Last season’s encounter at Elland Road was controversial for all the wrong reasons, with the Reds denied victory by Kemar Roofe’s handball, which cancelled out Jack Robinson’s opener.

Forest though, did have the last laugh thumping Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites 4-2 at the City Ground on New Year’s Day.

Leeds meanwhile, named the same side which beat Bristol City 3-1 at Ashton Gate on Sunday.

Forest: Muric, Cash, Worrall, Dawson, Robinson, Watson, Semedo, Silva, Adomah, Lolley, Grabban. Subs: Samba, Ribeiro, Figueiredo, Mir, Jenkinson, Ameobi, Sow.

Leeds: Casilla, Dallas, White, Cooper, Douglas, Phillips, Hernandez, Forshaw, Klich, Harrison, Bamford. Subs:  Meslier, Berardi, Alioski, Shackleton, Bogusz, Clarke, Costa.
