Sabri Lamouchi reveals his Nottingham Forest team to face Birmingham City

Samba Sow and Sammy Ameobi will make their first Championship starts for Nottingham Forest after Sabri Lamouchi named his team to face Birmingham City.

The duo represent the only two changes from the team which drew 1-1 Leeds United in their last league outing, with Tiago Silva and Albert Adomah the players to make way.

Sow impressed in Tuesday's Carabao Cup win against Fleetwood and it seemed likely he would replace Ben Watson, but it is Silva, who got the only goal of that game, who drops out.

That means Alfa Semedo is tasked with being the midfielder who gets closest to striker Lewis Grabban.

Ameobi did little against Fleetwood when starting, but he was excellent in coming off the bench against Leeds, giving him a chance from the start.

Carl Jenkinson must wait for his full league debut with Matty Cash keeping his place at right-back. Young winger Arvin Appiah impressed against Fleetwood, but he does not make the bench.

Brice Samba, Yuri Ribeiro, Tobias Figueiredo and Rafa Mir are among the substitutes having started against the Cod Army.

Forest (4-2-3-1): Muric, Cash, Worrall, Dawson, Robinson, Sow, Watson, Lolley, Semedo, Ameobi, Grabban. Subs: Samba, Ribeiro, Figueiredo, Mir, Jenkinson, Silva, Adomah.

Birmingham: Camp, Pedersen, Roberts, Colin, Crowley, Jutkiewicz, Dean, Villalba, G Gardner, Davis, Sunjic; Subs: Stockdale, Harding, C Gardner, Clarke-Salter, Medina, Gimenez, Seddon.
