Sabri Lamouchi rebuffs Premier League interest as Nottingham Forest linked with French international striker

Nottingham Forest head coach  Sabri Lamouchi  is said to have rejected an approach from Watford to take up their vacant managerial post.

The Hornets are on the lookout for a new manager after sacking Quique Sanchez Flores, and Lamouchi was yesterday listed at 20/1 for the job, in SkyBet’s odds.

CITY GROUND PLANS TAKE STEP FORWARD

Nottingham Forest’s City Ground redevelopment plans have taken a significant step forward, with the club confirming a planning application has been submitted to Rushcliffe Borough Council.

The Reds announced plans earlier this year to transform their home into a world-class venue, with work due to start next summer, should planning permission be granted.

SEATING ALLOCATION FOR NEW PETER TAYLOR STAND REVEALED

Seating plans for Nottingham Forest's new state of the art Peter Taylor Stand have been revealed, with more than 8,000 'standard' seats split over three tiers.

Planning permission for the work has now been formally lodged with Rushcliffe Borough Council, with hopes that should, as expected, permission be granted, work will start next year on phase one of the £100m project which will see the stadium capacity raised to around 38,000.

FRENCH STRIKER LINKED WITH CITY GROUND MOVE

Forest have been linked with a move for French forward Guillaume Hoarau.

A striker is likely to be at the top of head coach Sabri Lamouchi’s shopping list come January, and, according to reports in Switzerland, the Reds have expressed an interest in the Young Boys front man.
