Sabri Lamouchi praises Nottingham Forest fans as more than 8,000 snap up Arsenal tickets

Sabri Lamouchi says Nottingham Forest are 'lucky' to have so many 'fantastic' fans after selling 8,397 tickets for the trip to Arsenal.

The Reds have sold out their latest and last allocation of tickets for the Carabao Cup third round tie at the Emirates Stadium.

Head coach Lamouchi is thrilled his team will be backed in such large numbers at the home of one of the Premier League's big guns.

“Our fans are just fantastic. They follow us everywhere and are right behind us," he said.

“I hope it will continue to be the same in the league for the rest of the season.

“As players and staff, we try to bring them with us because they are doing as much as they can. They follow us in London and I hope a lot will come to Swansea also.

“We are lucky."

Forest were initially given 5,100 tickets with allocations of 2,200 and 1,000 ticket also selling out.

It means the Reds will have their largest away following since the trip to Peterborough in 1994 when they secured promotion to the top flight.
