Sabri Lamouchi names Nottingham Forest side to face league leaders Swansea City as key stars are benched

Sabri Lamouchi showed he is not afraid to make bold selection decisions as he named his team to face Swansea City.

The Nottingham Forest boss left out key men Joe Lolley and Jack Robinson at the Liberty Stadium as Albert Adomah and Yuri Ribeiro came into the side.

There was also a first start of the season for Joao Carvalho with the Portuguese midfielder now fully recovered from the ankle injury he suffered in pre-season.

He replaced Alfa Semedo as the attacking midfielder, while Matty Cash was in at right-back for the injured Carl Jenkinson.

The final change from the draw at home to Preston saw Samba Sow, who shone as a half-time substitute, start in midfield alongside Ben Watson with Tiago Silva dropping to the bench.

Forest: Samba, Cash, Dawson (c), Worralll, Ribeiro; Watson, Sow; Ameobi, Carvalho, Adomah; Grabban.

Subs: Muric, Figueiredo, Bostock, Semedo, Robinson, Lolley, Silva
